It's no secret that Justin has been seen tucked well away behind dimly -lit DJ booths around Brighton, putting out his blend of ‘Old vs New’ house tunes to suit the masses, young and old.

Originally from Barnes, SW London, and the hedonistic Acid house phase, the original Mudd Club, Busbys, Pyramid @ Heaven, Limelight and also the famous Kinki Gerlinki were some of Mr K’s original stamping grounds, and now Justin K is now putting back what he has been taking from his early clubbing days from the early 90s. Influences of having worked in the music industry such as, PolyGram (now Universal), A&M, Island and EMI Records, but on the more corporate side.

In Brighton since 1995, Fast forward a decade, and now into his third year in the clubbing mainstream, Mr K’s unique style has been creating a tiny stir whenever he appears, and with many previous Brighton appearances under his belt, (particularly from the men only and the Bear scene) he is now a favourite at the now growing trend of Private parties throughout Sussex, and has played in Spain (and Ibiza - kind of, on an unsteady hilltop!), Holland and also Belgium. One of the top nominated male DJs in the prestigious Golden Handbag Awards in 2007, Justin K has recently also been asked to fill a new slot at the H Bar/Club in Hove. But being tall often causes him to bang his head on low ceilings!

With a solid history of Brighton venues, spanning the last 3 years, appearances at private parties, including a Swingers event (something he won't be repeating!), this is a fiery man who plays in the underbelly of the town, and sometimes on the quiet. But he plans to stay right here.
