The Edward Carpenter Community for Gay Men is a group of gay men committed to the principles of caring, trusting, sharing, creativity and personal growth. They aim to nurture 'community' as an alternative to the commercial gay scene... the group is open to all men who identify as gay.

They organise a variety of events throughout the year - from week long events to Lake Dristrict breaks, and there are usually between 25 and 60 participants depending on the location.
