Horizon's First Birthday...
review
Horizon has exploded since it began in July 2006 and has fast proven itself to be one of London's best gay Saturday nights - rocking Fire hard twice a month.
We joined the throngs of Fire faithful as they descended on Horizon for a fun-filled night of disco debaucher... I even went home with a Horizon Classic CD mixed by the fabulous Stevie B!
The Main room featured Horizon residents Paul Christian, Stevie B, Dave Cross, Gonzalo and Terry Bryan, laying down the fiercest‘n'funkiest tunes out there and joined by the inimitable Tonnic on vocals... amazing PA!
?In the Mirror Arch ‘The Boneheads’ - Per QX and Elliot J Brown treated us to another exclusive mash-up set. These guys rocked the Soho Square stage big style at Pride this year and were the highlight of the show for many of us. They were joined by David Jimenez and Gianni Roma playing RAW style tunes, bringing that Monday morning feeling to Horizon with The Sound of Now.?
The amazing Light Box was Classic House with The Sharp Boys, D’Johnny and Paul Martin and Fire’s stunning re-vamped Fire Champagne Lounge was kept pumpin by Alan K and Steven Artis. ??Horizon delivered the fabulous production levels we were hoping for and helped build an amazing atmosphere that really can only be found at Fire. The very best tunes, a stunning and up-for-it crowd, gorgeous go-go’s, dancers and performances with extra twists. We experienced mischief, mayhem and birthday madness - all set to the stunning soundtrack of London’s finest DJ’s!??Happy First Birthday Horizon... see you soon on the dancefloor!
