Shh! Secret Disco launch night!...
review
There's something lovely and loungy about Secret Disco. The warm, welcoming decor of the revamped R-Bar was perfectly complemented by the music of Queen Jo and he guest DJ Sarah Foote Favouritizm!
This is the perfect opportunity to kick back and listen to the music that inspired he album (available in all good record stores... oh... and here  of course!) - and a chance to do a bit of a calmer Friday night. It's far from sleepy though - don't get me wrong. I think it's fair to say that the tunes are uplifting and there were lots of lovely tracks that made me smile. Queen Jo picked up the golden handbag for Brighton's favourite female DJ this year and it was obviously very well deserved.
Secret Disco will be taking over the R-Bar every Friday night, so do stop by, have yourself a pint and enjoy!

Just a stone's throw from the pier and right in the middle of it all, R-Bar is a spacious, relaxing place to meet at any time of day, with plenty of opportunity for people-watching. Recently taken over by Revenge, it is perfectly placed for pre-club drinking. The next R-Bar date for your diary:

If there was such a thing as a run-of-the-mill queen then Queen Josephine wouldn't be one... Popular with both the boys and the girls (can one DJ have more groupies?), she has residencies at Mad Cow, Passion, Envy, Wet Pussy, Decent, Bring It On, Shameless Hussies and the Candy Bar. A girl that is rapidly gaining the respect of her deck-mates and the adoration of her crowds!
