Well before the parade was due to set off, thousands gathered around Baker Street to prepare for the capital's 2009 pride parade. From voluntary groups to commercial organisations, people from all walks of life set about preparing their parade entries.
The largely humdrum business hub of London was transformed from the ordinary to the wild and fantastic with a wonderful spectacle of costumes, colour and music!
