A homage to Harvey Milk by Eagle London... Milk in the Park was a great big musical disco party in the heart of The Vauxhall Gay Village to mark a host of significant events which have given us the opportunity to live and work in equality and freedom without prejudice and hate.

Brought in by the force behind the Eagle, the event celebrated 40 Years since the Stonewall Riots, 30 Years to commemorate our pioneer of Gay civil rights Harvey Milk and of course five Years of the Eagle!

Horse Meat Disco hosted the main arena with a fabulous line-up of PA’s like Candy Staton, Crazy P, Faze Action and DJs like Prins Thomas and Trevor Jackson plus Horse Meat Disco residents Jim Stanton, James Hillard, Filthy Luka and Severino. All this together with cabaret legend (and Gay Bingo host) Jonny Woo. Horse Meat Disco is a flagship night at the Eagle London and brought a huge and mixed crowd of fashion freaks, bears, trannies, club kids, gay and the straight who pack the club week after week.

Another of the big tents, Tonker In The Woods, the muscle bear gathering with DJs like Tim Jones, Wayne G, Paul Coles and House Husbands.

The Carpet Burn tent offered 80 & 90’s pop classics celebrating the era fashion forgot. Here the punters danced to pop anthems played by the resident DJs C*nt Mix Won't Mix, Prince Nelly, Rebel 7 Djs and Lil John.

And finally, the super cool Deep Inside tent, Eagle London’s homage to New York gay bars of the early 90s with DJs like Tasty Tim, Jeffrey Hinton, Luke Howard and Nine Bob playing pure NYC and Chicago house.

There was also a giant screen showing The Life and Times of Harvey Milk, The Celluloid Closet and Paris is Burning. Not to mention the world’s first Tranny Netball Tournament.

A sexy, fun party for this up for it party crowd who came together to support the event and to an amazing time with friends and random encounters!
