The Angel promises the biggest gay party in Stratford with an up-for-it, friendly and unpretentious crowd with cabaret and disco at the weekends. Tonight Mandy Gap was supposed to be gracing the stage - but unfortunately couldn't make it so we entertained ourselves with a bit of music and some costumes!

The Angel is seems to be straight out of the 80's with its blacked-up windows, and the leather caps and hi-NRG add to the ambiance! The crowd is really mixed and is welcoming to straight and gay - with everyone having a great time as far as we could tell. It was great to be able to relax with some good music and without getting hit on!
